LYNN DALLY co-founded the Jazz Tap Ensemble in 1979. As dancer and choreographer, she has created a large body of original tap works for the concert stage and performed in worldwide touring with the JTE. She has appeared often with tap legends Honi Coles, Eddie Brown, Steve Condos, Harold Nicholas, Jimmy Slyde, Gregory Hines and Tap Divas, Brenda Bufalino, Dianne Walker, Sarah Petronio, in venues from Carnegie Hall to the Apollo. Dally has received multiple NEA dance grants, two Irvine Fellowships, City of LA Award for Dancing Blues and was the first tap dancer to receive the Guggenheim Fellowship 2001. Now Adjunct Professor at UCLA, Dally continues to teach and perform internationally. Dally was honored to receive the "Hoofer Award" at Tap City 2006.
